If you’ve logged into Diamond Dynasty over the last couple of days, you’ve probably noticed that San Diego Studios is throwing a massive curveball to wrap up the month. The June Countdown Program is officially live, but unlike the standard grinds we’re used to, this one comes with a serious catch: it is a full-on sprint with a strict deadline.

The event went live on June 26, 2026, and is set to vanish on June 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT. That gives us just a tight four-day window to clear out some heavily gated tiers. If you manage to survive the grind, the rewards are massive—including top-tier player cards and a total of up to 86,000 Stubs.

Here is a breakdown of how this unique program works and what you need to do to secure the rewards before the clock runs out.

The Catch: Linear Progression

We are all used to stacking missions in MLB The Show—jumping into a game, ticking off parallel XP, hitting homers with specific series cards, and progressing three different programs at once. You can't do that here. The June Countdown Program is strictly linear, meaning the objectives are sequentially locked.

You must complete every single Easy Mission to even look at the Medium Missions folder. Once those are done, the Hard Missions finally unlock. Because of this structure, you are forced to jump between offline grinding and online multiplayer modes right from the jump. Progress does not carry over or stack ahead of time, so managing your time over these few days is critical.

1. Easy Missions

Don't let the name fool you into thinking this is a total cakewalk, especially with the ticking clock. The baseline tier focuses on fundamental gameplay goals.

  • Objectives: Clear base-level gameplay goals, rack up 5 hits in a single game, and record strikeouts and stolen bases specifically in online multiplayer modes.

  • The Reward: Completing this folder unlocks the Medium Missions folder and immediately hands you a great bullpen piece: the 95 OVR Standout Series Zack Britton (CP, BAL). His sinker/slider combo is always a nightmare for opponents, making him well worth the initial push.

2. Medium Missions

Once you are in the second tier, things start heating up. The game asks for a mix of cumulative volume and single-game efficiency.

  • Objectives: Tally 10+ strikeouts overall, secure 2 Ranked Season wins, and hit 10+ home runs in multiplayer environments.

  • The PXP Grind: There are two heavy PXP requirements here: earning 1,500 PXP with supercharged players (keep an eye on real-world MLB hot streaks to see who is boosted) and a staggering 2,500 PXP in a single game.

  • The Reward: Crossing these off your list awards you the 96 OVR Awards Series Ronald Acuña Jr. (CF, ATL), an absolute five-tool monster for any outfield lineup.

3. Hard Missions

This is where the real gatekeeping happens, and you will need to bring your absolute best online game.

  • Objectives: Secure 5 Battle Royale wins and score 15 runs in Ranked Seasons. On top of that, you need an explosive offensive performance—10+ hits in a single multiplayer game—and a masterful pitching performance consisting of 24+ strikeouts in a single game. You will also need to grind out 1,000 PXP using the 96 OVR Awards Nick Castellanos.

  • The Reward: Completing this final tier doesn’t grant another player card, but instead delivers a massive financial injection: 75,000 Stubs. Combined with the Stubs you pick up along the way through the earlier tiers, you are looking at a grand total of 86,000 Stubs back into your virtual wallet.

Concurrent June Content Drops to Stack

While you cannot stack the Countdown Program missions with themselves, San Diego Studios did drop a ton of parallel content that you can work on simultaneously to maximize your time efficiency:

  • June Spotlight Drop 3: This drop features a fresh set of custom moments and stat grinding. Reaching 50 program points secures you the 96 OVR Spotlight Nasim Nuñez milestone card.

  • Summer Series Event Update: The casual "Summer Break Event" is officially over. In its place is a new, fast-paced, best-of-three online multiplayer event. This is the perfect venue to sweat out those online milestones and multiplayer home runs for the Countdown Program without risking your Ranked Season rating.

  • Mini Seasons & Conquest: Fresh maps have officially hit the live servers. If you are looking to tackle the offline requirements or need a comfortable place to hunt for that 2,500 single-game PXP milestone, these maps offer the perfect backdrop while multiplying your team-building progress and stacking parallel XP multipliers.
